The owner, Pak Ali, is a kind and inspiring person. He also runs a foundation for children with cleft lips in Sumatra — which made my stay feel even more meaningful. Upstairs, there’s a vegetarian café with delicious food. They grow some of their ingredients on-site (farm-to-table concept), and I was blown away by the haloumi sandwich – they even import the cheese from the UK! It’s not just a place to stay, it’s a place that stays with you. I’d definitely come back if I visit Toba again.

Very friendly host that helped a lot with organising my day activities. Even though I don't speak Indonesian (which caused the communication to be a little bit harder), they still helped me in every possible way. Big highlight is the bed in the accommodation, that is so soft like you are sleeping on a cloud! I can highly recommend the accommodation, I had a lovely stay!

She also runs a restaurant downstairs from the apartment (no noise at all) and you really do not want to go anywhere else for breakfast. Delicious, also for lunch and dinner.

Really appreciate the apartment was very clean when we arrive and the host provide us all the necessary stuff (coffee, tea, some food and snacks, products for cleaning house, detergent for washing our cloths, lots of towels so we don’t need to wash it often, etc…). I don’t need to spend extra money for appartement stuff, and all the equipment are very nice (TV with Netflix, good sound system, water filtering, washing machine, microwave, rice cooker…). Really love staying in the apartment with perfect location and access to a big mall (very helpful when it’s in raining no need to go out by car). We also have access in the building to sport machine and to a nice swimming pool. After few days my little boy was sick and vomit in the bed, the host provides us in few hours new bed linen (fitted sheet, pillowcase, blanket…) without additional cost. Thank you again for your warm welcome, I highly recommend this apartment.
