Our stay at Sunset Haven was simply unforgettable – and that’s entirely thanks to Chris, our exceptional host. From the moment we booked until long after we left, Chris took care of every detail with genuine warmth and dedication. He arranged our car rentals, pulled off what we considered “miracles,” planned trips for us, and gave invaluable tips on what to see, where to eat, and how to truly enjoy the island like a local. The villa itself was absolutely lovely – spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and so well-equipped that we had absolutely everything we needed. Chris even welcomed us with food and drinks to get us through our first day after a long journey – a gesture that’s rare, even for seasoned travelers like us. We truly felt like we were staying with family rather than at a rental property. After Mahe, we continued our journey to Praslin and went on trips recommended and booked by Chris – but we must admit, we missed the comfort and care of his villa every day. If we ever return to the Seychelles, there will be absolutely no question about where we’ll stay. Chris, thank you for everything, many greetings to Marievonne (and Sonja says hi to Chester and Lucky) – you’ve set the bar incredibly high!

Michael and Carol are very responsible, tactful, hardworking, and hospitable... we can go on with this list endlessly. They are excellent and friendly hosts, hard to find better! Everything was done for our comfort, and even more! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a bottle of good wine, basic necessities, and other nice little things that are indispensable. On Saturday, my husband and I were treated to a wonderful private dinner! There were many pleasant surprises. Special thanks for that. The apartments are stylish, everything is tastefully done, and the pool is very clean. It was nice to refresh in it after walking on hot days. A 15-minute walk to the right there are 2 small and secluded beaches, we fell in love with them. To the left is the famous Beau Vallon with cafes and restaurants. The location is excellent. Now we are in the southern part of Mahe, but we liked the northern part even more! It was more compact and cozy for us. We spent an unforgettable week and we will always remember this time with special warmth. Thank you for taking care of us! We already miss it. And if the opportunity to fly to the Seychelles comes again, the choice is obvious. Michael and Carol, we wish you prosperity, success, and good guests!

This apartment is non-smoking and soundproof. I like everything about the property, it’s just a home. Very comfortable and nice. 3 minutes walk to the grocery store, 7 minutes walk to the beach. Everything is swiftly accessible.

We took the apartment that has huge patio and the garden and we didn’t do wrong! It made our stay so nice and comfortable and this place really felt like home. Space is even bigger than it looked on pictures. Lise was soooo kind and making sure 100% that everything was just perfect during our stay. Some days we were even hoping for bad weather so we don’t feel “guilty” for just chilling at the patio, haha. Lise invited us also to dinner in her other chalets nearby with other guests. She prepared amazing food, free of charge as she also loves introducing guests to each other. It was great night! If we come back again to Mahe and hopefully we will, we’ll stay definitely here again. Her staff is also super nice and polite making sure every day that everything is super clean.
