From the moment we booked until long after we left, Chris took care of every detail with genuine warmth and dedication. He arranged our car rentals, pulled off what we considered “miracles,” planned trips for us, and gave invaluable tips on what to see, where to eat, and how to truly enjoy the island like a local. The villa itself was absolutely lovely – spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and so well-equipped that we had absolutely everything we needed. Chris even welcomed us with food and drinks to get us through our first day after a long journey – a gesture that’s rare, even for seasoned travelers like us. We truly felt like we were staying with family rather than at a rental property. After Mahe, we continued our journey to Praslin and went on trips recommended and booked by Chris – but we must admit, we missed the comfort and care of his villa every day. If we ever return to the Seychelles, there will be absolutely no question about where we’ll stay. Chris, thank you for everything, many greetings to Marievonne (and Sonja says hi to Chester and Lucky) – you’ve set the bar incredibly high!

The location in the south of the island was perfect, really quiet but close drive in either direction of some of the most beautiful beaches such as Takamaka beach, Anse Royale, Anse Soleil etc. Slyvia and Yannick were the perfect hosts, really friendly and welcoming.

This apartment is non-smoking and soundproof. Great apartment with everything you need, well equipped kitchen, super clean, friendly hosts... Overall a great place to stay in the area but you do need a car.

Me and my family recently had the pleasure of staying at Otantik Residence and I must say that our experience was exceptional. Benjamin, the host, was incredibly welcoming, he met us in the airport (at midnight!) and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. He was always available to answer any questions I had and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel itself was also fantastic. The rooms were clean and spacious, with all the dishes and table-ware available for self-catering, including coffee machine, oven, refrigirator etc, and also washing machine (and even iron with ironing table! :)) as well as a snorkeling inventory, shortly saying - everything one need for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect with fantastic views (both from the balcony (sea view) and a kitchen (mountain view), about 10 minutes ride by car from the city center (car available for rent on-site as an option), aslo with access to public transportation as well, the bus stop is about 200 meters from the property. Overall, I would highly recommend Otantik Residence to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the area with beautiful views and without the crowd of the city, but pretty near it.

The room was very modern and spacious, the only one with efficient and well working AC we found in Seychelles. The view was fantastic and the best was the swimming pool. We came to this apartment after 3 weeks of active holiday in Seychelles to just stay and chill by the pool. And it was the best decision.
