This route is ideal to get lost, while learning its history, through the streets of Cuenca. From the viewpoint located behind the Arco de Bezudo, we will go down the gorges of the Huécar river and the Huécar river, letting ourselves be duped by its streets, buildings, people, monuments, up to the Plaza de la Merced and the Torre de Mangana. Once there we will walk the path to the famous Hanging Houses, to talk about the Museum of Spanish Abstract Art, named for the first abstract art museum located in Spain (we will not access the interior). Afterwards, we will direct our steps to the cathedral, where we will visit the interior of the first Gothic temple in Spain and its triforium.

This is an interactive activity that involves walking around Cuenca, collecting clues and solving puzzles. It's suitable for all ages and the book is in both English and Spanish. It's a fun way to discover the city and is not too difficult. This event is in the form of a book. The book has the story of The Devil's Cross and includes extracts from the Secret diary of Diego. This information, along with directions and clues, will lead you through the old historic part of Cuenca. You will see the Cathedral, medieval arches, hanging houses, a suspended bridge over a ravine, a monastery and much more. You will solve puzzles along the way and have a lot of fun. This is a public event and all you need is the book and a pen and paper.

After pick-up at your accommodation in Cuenca, we will set off for the famous Enchanted City, one of the most surprising natural places in the Natural Park of the Serranía de Cuenca. Accompanied by our guides, we will tour this incredible karst landscape discovering its curious rock formations and the histories and curiosities hidden in this unique place. Before returning to Cuenca, we will stop at the Ventano del Diablo, a stunning natural viewpoint with spectacular views over the muzzles and forests of the Serranía.

During the guided tour we will learn about the origin of its whimsical rock formations and the curiosities that hide this unique landscape. The route will continue to the source of the Cuervo River, where we will travel its paths and waterfalls while discovering the natural environment in which one of the most emblematic rivers of Castile-La Mancha arises. Before returning to Cuenca, we will stop at the Laguna de Uña, with free time to eat or enjoy the surroundings quietly, and we will also visit the Ventano del Diablo, a spectacular natural balcony with stunning views over the Serranía.

This experience lets you explore the medieval castle in your own time using a multilingual audio guide on your mobile device. You can start your visit with a 12-minute film introducing the building and its history, before you set off to discover more about the fortress. Accompanied by your audio guide, you’ll have the chance to see replicas of 15th-century armour, and examples of Mudejar fabric and ceilings. You can journey from the depths of the dungeons, to the heights of the ramparts of the castle’s six accessible towers, where you’ll enjoy views of the surrounding area.
