The cottage is cosy with everything you need for a home from home experience and hosts Nancy and Paddy on hand to offer local information and making sure you have everything you need for a great stay.

Excellent tucked away holiday cottage to go with family and/or friends. Location within walking distance from the coast, all comfort provided (including dishwasher and washing machine), tastefully furbished. Very nice hosts, Judith helped us with sorting out the tick "infestation" on our dog when back from walking through farming land (yes, there are ticks everywhere in Devon at this time, so make sure you take extra care for your dogs if they travel with you). Good pubs in short driving distance around - Black Venus was our favourite by far, but you need to reserve in advance. Perfect holiday for coastal walks!

Robert and Richard are extremely helpful to settle us in to our room and explained in detail about the town. They made good recommendations on restaurants and places to go. The room is spacious with a nice view. The breakfast is delicious. We highly recommend Highcliff House.

Wonderful 2 night stay in quiet,comfortable B.and B.,just a short walk from the centre of Lynton. Large,airy bedroom with good facilities and excellent,well prepared breakfast. Amenable hosts.

location is superb, easy access to the coast path and an easy drive to Exmoor. Breakfast was great, excellent quality. As a vegetarian who dislikes meat substitute products I often find problems when eating out, but not at Longmead House. The best breakfast I've had when away for years.
