Dympna is an excellent host. The apartment was spotlessly clean and we had scones upon arrival. We were given great advice on what to do, where to eat etc. The views from the house and garden are exceptional. It was a 30 minute walk from the town and that walk home each evening was a big highlight.

Beautiful location! Very thoughtfully stocked. Not only is it a short walk to the trail head to hike the Cliffs, the ferry leaves right from Doolin. Perfect spot to watch the sunset. Wonderful pubs and music in town to enjoy after a day of adventure. Liz was very responsive to all my inquiries.

The place was amazing, Marie is a superb host, room was awesome, breakfast was delicious, location was very convenient. Totally recommended, and a lot of local gem places to eat and drink in Doolin!

The Hawthorne was amazing - we really did not have any issues. The best thing was just how overall open the house was - also the showers where excellent. We also loved the family room. Another thing we loved was all the little extras like the lists of taxi companies - we used them many times to go into town for the pubs at night!

It was cosy and warm. The stove fire added to the ambiance. It was well furnished with comfortable chairs and sofa's. The bedrooms were a good size with lots of space. For such a small building it was really well thought out and never felt closed in. Its proximity to restaurants and bars make it an ideal place to stay...everything within easy reach.

Loved our stay here, the cottage was cosy and so comfortable. A perfect base for exploring Clare. Towels are provided for shower but if are visiting for a week would advise to pack some extra.
