We enjoyed being there so much we asked if we could extend our stay. Sadly, they were booked so we were unable to. However, due to how much we enjoyed our time there, we are hoping to come back next year and stay again. The cottage is so comfortable that we cancelled our dinner reservations and grabbed food at the local grocery and ate in both nights. With the ocean on one side, mtns on the other, why would you want to be anywhere else? Extremely well equipped with everything you could need. Comfortable, relaxing, and beautiful setting all rolled up in one. Thank you for all the special touches included in your cottage. Our favorite place in NZ so far.

We spend Christmas night with our little one. We enjoyed our stay and hospitality from Kevin & his wife. They prepared lavish dinner for us. This place got many farm animals that our daughter enjoyed so much.

We love the style and decoration of the house including the available facilities and details. The owner must love the house so much, so we thank for sharing the lovely place with us. The view is superb. The garden is beautiful. The 3rd bedroom has an ensuite facility and very private. We didn't use the study room though the owner left us a key to access as well. We didn't cook but the kitchen utensils are of good quality.

We had a wonderful stay at Te Mahuru. Owner Jen was extremely helpful. The location was on a quiet road and the drive to town was less than 10 minutes. Place was super clean and beds were very comfy.
