We made a last minute change to plans and were so fortunate that this house had availability as a recent listing - the host can not have been more helpful, showing us the house/sending excellent recommendations for local beaches/restaurants/activities and supporting any questions - a pleasure to meet. The house was beyond expectations - recently decorated everything was clean and fresh, individual and interesting decor, very well supplied kitchen rare for a holiday rental .... and wonderful outside spaces covering all options sun/shade/pool/privacy. The terrace was so perfect with sunset and countryside view we ate there every night! We also loved the location - easy from Lisbon and with the Atlantic beaches really close, and short drive to sheltered beaches on the south coast of the peninsula good for kids and taking a dip if the waves are too fierce on the west. Also great to have restaurants/shops in walking distance but with a countryside outlook. We would definitely love to go back there and planning a return visit - really recommended!

Well decorated, clean, organized and nice garden with private parking. The beds were comfortable and the house was well equipped. We had a nice sardine barbecue in the house, sitting outside, wonderful! The owner is very responsible, kind and attentive :) Perfect house to spends some days in the area.

We were coming from a disastrous experience in Costa Caparica and were just looking for a clean room and a comfortable bed, but we found so much more. Starting with the check-in, which was granted to us even though it was very late and the reservation was made at the last minute, the hosts put us at ease, gave us great advice and took care of us throughout the duration of our stay. The apartment is perfect for a couple and is conveniently located for exploring the Lagoa de Albufeira and sunbathing at some of the best beaches in the Alentejo.

The owner was very welcoming and helpful. The guest house is next to the center of Alfarim. There are some terraces and restaurants there.

Everything was super, near to the beach, to the swimmingpool and market. And very, very nice staff.

Everything was perfect. The apartment was clean, fresh and well kitted out. Check in and out was a breeze. There is a shop a few steps away for essentials. Parking can be an issue when it's busy but we always got a spot.

The owner been next door to welcome you at the moment you arrive with a lovely attention for making our 1st night "home" with a loaf of traditional bread, local cheese....AND...a bottle of local wine...FREE...Big change from all other places giving us as less as possible in the flat or having to drive 20min to pick up a key!...we even had in another place 1 & only 1 tablet for the dish washer + a mini toy size bottle filled with washing liquid! Here we left with oranges from her patio! It is situated in a peaceful village only few min from sesimbra

Large cabin with kitchen. Quiet. Nice views of country side. We didn't use it but the pool and surrounding area seemed nice. Nice, helpful host (but you have to go elsewhere to check in).

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The quality of breakfast very high, and the family run restaurant had incredible food and always a good atmosphere.
