The house has an amazing traditional atmosphere and is a beautiful location. The view is breathtaking and in the end the place was so nice that we stayed all the time in the house itself. There is really everything you need, from the stuff in the kitchen, swimming pool, bathroom, doing the laundry, and having a nice BBQ. The host is extremely friendly and great hospitality.

It's a lovely house in a fantastic location. The house is beautiful, complete and tastefully decorated. It is very clean and the beds are of good quality. You have a sea view from the house and terrace. This house and this place is actually much better than the pictures suggest.

I would definately recommend Casa de Santo Amaro as it is one of the best places I've ever stayed!! Beautiful,calm,clean,amazing view....once I arrived, it immediately felt like home! It's a perfect base camp for exploring the beautiful Island of Pico and it's many wonders! Unfortunately I didn't meet Augusto and his Family in person this time,but communication via Whats app was absolutely spotless and Augusto is a very caring host who provides helpful informations and all the help in the world if needed. If you're searching for a place full of soul,tranquility and peacefulness in a wonderful surrounding,this may just be your place!😊 Dear Augusto....Thanks again a million times for the lovely stay and all the help and I'll be very happy to be back in the future!! Amazing host made our stay even more enjoyable! It was simply amazing to have a caring person ready to help anytime with anything and the house itself was wonderful! All of the rooms are very beautiful and each of them had its own bathroom which is not very common. The outside BBQ and chill area totally exceeded our expectations. The proximity to the port is amazing if you enjoy water activities as snorkeling, spearfishing etc.

The location was superb. The ocean in front of you, in a wonderful, quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked, and there was plenty of room in the house. It had a very comfortable feel.
