Offering a shared garden and city view, at 300 metres from Portobello Beach and 3 km from Arthurs Seat. EVERYTHING. Every last detail was perfect at this stay. The apartment was immaculate, clean, had everything you need, great location outside of the city centre. Could not have asked for anything better.

It was a great experience to be staying in a caravan. The unit is clean, towels are crisp clean, all necessary kitchen utensils are available, wifi is strong, good water heaters, beds are comfortable and the host Peter is very kind and nice! The nearest bus station is about 12 mins walk. It will take you an hour to travel going to the city center, but you get to see the neighboring towns and see interesting sights. Overall, we had a relaxing stay in the caravan.

We liked the lovely renovated cottage with the nice and accentuated furnishing, the Nespresso Coffee Machine and the 3min walk to the train station as well as the great location in East Lothian.

Chris and Sinead were incredible hosts and made us feel at home from check-in. The breakfast each morning was something we looked forward to each day. It was restaurant quality (wife asked for a recipe) and the soft background music (personal note here) was spot on. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The property is located near a bus stop, so getting around isn’t an issue. Lastly, it’s a 2 minute (max) skip down to the beach. It’s one block away.

I did not have breakfast as it was the start of Ramadan but there was a piece of laminated paper in the room which showed options available (which were many, including halal, vegetarian and traditional Scottish and many more). I believe it would be very good as it is the type of place that would serve amazing breakfast! However, the hosts were so kind and gave me porridge which I heated up and fruits which I had before sunrise. This is what I mean by amazing hospitality! This is why I have given my experience a 10 as I felt it was a home away from home 🏡

Very nice place, beautiful views and beach. Kids loved it. Home was clean and nice. Warm shower and good kitchen. Internet and TV. Outside patio was nice with quiet evenings. Good distance from Edinburgh by car.

It was easy to find the place and the check-in was very simple. The location, the view from the apartment is amazing. It was a bit far from the center, but worth it. It was such a cozy and beautiful apartment. We had a great time there. I wanted to stay more! Not gonna lie I want to live in a place like this. The host was also very kind and friendly. If I go to Edinburgh again, I would like to come back and stay here again. 🥰
