We absolutely loved our stay! Celmira and her family were so nice and made sure we had everything we needed and were safe when we went on excursions (nearby town with Thermal water and little bars and shops (30min walking), and a waterfall (1,5h walking). The food was incredible, we're still talking about it haha. Super chill area, not much to do but relax and enjoy the moment. Stayed for 3 nights which was the perfect length. The property is really small, we were the only guests, which was nice after a few weeks of travelling. Loved the down-to-earth vibe with bucket showers and honest conversations with the hosts.

This cabin is actually in the town of Termales not directly in Nuqui! Thanks to this error, I think we got the best deal possible; great price for privacy, quality of the room, local sights and activities, and location. The cabin is an amazing display of local artisanal woodwork, made out of highly coveted wood like guayacan and macana. The owners are same from Refugio Salomon and they couldn’t be nicer and more attentive. Breakfast is quite good and changes every morning, as well as the other two meals (you pay extra for those, 25k and 20k for lunch and dinner respectively, but they are the cheapest option in town). The cabin sits in a corner at the edge of town next to a river. It is very quiet and you’re surrounded by the sounds of nature at all times.

The property is right on the beach. It is located walking distance to Thermales, waterfalls and jungle. Anna, the owner was super sweet and was attentive to anything you wanted to do. her speaking english really helped me get the most out of my stay. I would highly recommend Casa Colibri, I hope to return and if I do I will stay here.

isolated, peace, it’s a not for beginners - you have to like and love nature to enjoy it. If you can do some kind of hard trails, you will have the best connecting with nature in its original state. the place is very good taste, with minimum intervention in the environment. it’s a place to disconnect to the world and the internet and connect to yourself. And as a plus, meals are served in one table and you will have the chance to make new frieds, as I did!

This is a trip that is one of those you never forget. Staying at this hotel was surreal, I mean, you are in the middle of the jungle where you hear the sounds of nature like never before. Staff was awesome, we were very well taken care and the food was insanely delicious! Rooms were nice and clean!

We had such a lovely stay, this place is absolutely magical. Such a special place on the edge of this beautiful little village and the walk through the river, up the stream and into the jungle made it even more magical. A beautiful cabin, (the photos do not do it justice) and a shower under the stars. Valentina, the host, is so kind and welcoming, she made us feel so at home. Could not recommend this place more if you want simple living off the beaten track. Wish we could have stayed longer!
