Hotel Azul is the perfect place to stay on the ocean in Santa Marta. It is an elegant home converted into a small hotel. Very comfortable and the staff are delightful.

The location is excellent, and they have one of the best breakfast restaurants on the beach (lunch and dinner are delicious as well). The beds are large and mosquito netting in perfect conditions. I spent a lot of time on the hammock just enjoying the breeze. There was an outlet near the bed to keep electronics charged and plug in the standing fan that is provided in the room.The bathroom was clean and spacious, great water pressure (idk if there was any hot water, never used it, as the weather is hot enough? )

The pool and beach was fantastic, closed to the building. The bar also offer good drinks. The room very confortable with more things than we expected.
