I was driving from Bavaria, it took me about 12 hours with two pauses to rest and walk the dog. I needed to catch the ferry to Amrum first thing in the morning and only arrived at sunset. The lockboxes and easy access meant that I didn’t need to stress about the 1000km drive and potential delays on the journey. Jens was very kind and gave me all the information upfront so I knew exactly how to do everything. I took a walk with my dog to the bird sanctuary just across the street, which also offered fantastic views. I saw 5 spoonbills feeding, which made everything worth it! The room was very quiet and clean with comfortable beds and everything I needed, even a fridge for some food I brought from home. All in all, perfect place to overnight when catching a ferry in the morning, or a homebase for various trips to the different islands via different ships. Also great if you want to see birds. Would definitely recommend and come again when visiting the area. Thanks!

The staff was really friendly and helpful, we felt very well looked after! Hotel was clean, the breakfast was good and plenty and the view great!
