Rental was ground level of house and host lived above so they were very quick to respond to issues and were so friendly and helpful. Unit had two air conditioners so was very well cooled and comfortable to return to after the hot days. The location was a short walk to the fascinating Barrikako Flyscha formation with stairs down to the beach. There were two lunch/dinner restaurants very nearby and both were good.

Such a wonderful property! The room was amazing - high ceilings, comfortable bed, nice furnishings and very clean. Parking was easy to find and close. The keypad system was very convenient. Sarai was so easy to communicate with and she gave us great recommendations for restaurants. The Nespresso machine in the shared area was the cherry on top!

Location location location. What an ideal apartment for enjoying the beach! Ground level apartment with plenty of space for our family of five. Absolutely perfect for families but anyone would benefit from the proximity to the beach. Some good local restaurants and small markets and just absolute ease of everything including an onsite parking garage. Communication was perfect and we got some great advice which is always a bonus.

Adrian was an amazing host. So welcoming for two English only speakers. In house cafe, bar and restaurant were perfect for our informal tastes. Fun to see Plentzia come alive on Friday night and the weekend. Train from Bilbao was the best.

Hotel Arresi is a charming smaller older hotel, with a beautiful view of the sea. We truly enjoyed our stay. The staff is wonderful, and we would have loved to stay longer. We would definitely stay here again.

Lucía welcomed us and was lovely giving us all the recomendations we asked for. She recomended us a great restaurant in Barrika and all the best pintxos in Bilbao. The apartment is nice and confortable, just a few meters from the beach. It's easy to explore Bilbao by train but we did't find a spot to park the car near the train station so we decided to drive there. Gorlys is a beautifull beach and there's a nice hike to access the lighthouse.
