This was the ultimate authentic Finnish experience where we were treated more like family than guests. The cottage is absolutely beautiful in a stunning location. This place is beautiful. We spend a week there and enjoyed every minute of it. The cottage is located in a calm environment directly at the river. It is easily accessible by car and an excellent starting point for expeditions. Ivalo is only a few minutes by car and from there you can pretty much go in any direction. As we visited in winter we especially enjoyed watching the northern lights while cooling down on the deck after using the sauna or settling down in front of the fire place after a cold day of outdoor activities. The entire cottage was clean, tidy and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed from comprehensive kitchen equipment to movies and games. The owner were helpful and super responsive and took very little time to reply to our messages.

This beachfront property offers access to free Wifi and free private parking. The apartment offers an outdoor fireplace and a 24-hour front desk.
