A great location with full harbor views. The bed was very comfortable with we had quick responses to questions. The parking is free in the area out front of the building. You may need to know there are many many narrow and winding stairs to get up to the 3rd floor and this entry is sure to be difficult for some. We don't know why but the public area lights from the entry through a hall back to the stairs were not working so it was pitch dark after we returned from dinner and if we had arrived the first time after dark it would have been a safety issue. Check out is very early at 10am and we accidentally slept in and was grateful they gave us a little extra time to leave. The shower needs updating, but overall we'd recommend for the location and the views.

The apartment is a good size for a family of 3-4 (young children): large livingroom with fully furnished kitchen (fridge+freezer, microwave, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, cooker), a table, two comfy seats, and a sturdy sofa-bed, very good tv, wifi; a main bedroom with double bed and a small balcony; a toilet room (a bit small); utility room with shower-bath and washing machine. Electric blind on all 3 windows. Fully furnished with appliances (handheld hoover, kettle, iron, 2 coffee machines). It is located 2 min away from the centre of Brehal; the town is small, but with character (3 bakers, a bar, kebab shop, pizza shop, mini supermarket). A fresh food market on Tuesdays. Brehal is 15 min drive from the beach, 20 min form Granville and less than 1 hour from Mont Saint Michel and Saint Malo, 90 min from the D-Day beaches and Bayeux. Excellent location. Very good value for money. The host met us to give us the key and show us the apartment. And was very helpful with any queries, via Whatsapp.

Was initially drawn to the property because of the design of the rooms and its proximity to Granville (and the Dior Museum) - which was proven right. All the amenities of the room were comfortable - bed, sheets, bathroom, shower pressure (!!), homeyness, aesthetic. But what really made this stay memorable was the hospitality of the owners Martine and Germaine! Even with a short stay, they made an impact on our very first visit in lower Normandy and we absolutely cannot wait to be back, bring the rest of our family with us, and explore the area more next time!
