This is a one of a kind destination, right across from the beach on a row of excellent Art Deco resort properties. The sunroom and kitchen were shared, which was a little different, but the kitchen was well equipped and our host Guido was helpful and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and the space was nice. I left a bag in the room and Guido couldn’t have been more helpful in making sure it got back to me in Canada. The property is close to the centre of Napier, which is very cool and has a lot going on. We wish we could have stayed longer.

The room was clean, warm, comfortable and spacious. Great location to town and sights. Had everything we needed :) Was very quiet, no noise from the road or other guests. Spa bath was a bonus treat to relax in after walking around town all day.

The location was good. The bed was comfortable. And the staff was friendly. We also enjoyed the hot tub -- that was nice to have after a long day of travel.
