Hosts Eduardo and Gabriella were superlative hosts. They live on-site & are so helpful. They know all the local places, the bus routes, businesses- and they speak English. The room was great - huge sliding doors open onto a patio and pool area, with lovely gardens & many comfortable seating areas. There is a very well equipped common kitchen. The compound is gated, completely walled-in & accessible only by one of the family opening the buzzer door. The room has a private bathroom. Soap, TP, towels & bed linens are provided. Laundry service is fast & affordable. You wake to the sound of surf & birds. Everything is in walking distance. Buses & combi’s pass by the door. The airport is minutes away. But the biggest asset are the wonderful personalities of Eduardo and Gabriella.

We had the most AMAZING time at Totora Surf School and it was very hard to leave after three weeks! The rooms and property were always clean and organised and the view of the ocean is spectacular. Great value for money. But what made our stay so wonderful were the people! Laura and Diego are wonderful people and the care they put into their business is obvious. They went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and were especially kind and attentive to my dog Colt who would be very happy if we stayed forever! :) Their surf school team are all great people and Colt and I were happy to leave having made a bunch of new friends!
