One of the best stays we’ve had in the country! The staff made this so special for us! We had an incredible island hopping tour that made it all worth it! Did I mention the food was incredible? Probably the best one we had in the country in a whole month

This place is an absolute haven. The exterior and interior design are stunning, and the beach right in front of your room is clean and well-maintained. There's a neat and modern bar/restaurant by the sea. The beach has comfortable sun loungers and dining tables. In the evening, this place transforms into an amazingly decorated relaxation spot with lights, swings, and dining tables by the water, with the option of high tide touching your feet. 😊 The service and the people working at the hotel deserve special mention. The level of care is outstanding. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and kind. The service level is comparable to that of a high-end fine dining restaurant, which is very surprising to see on a remote island. There is always someone available to answer your questions or resolve any request. The kitchen at the restaurant is excellent; the chef is a true master of his trade. We enjoyed every dining course throughout our stay. I must say, I never ate so much rice in my life, but I kinda started enjoying it 😁. The evening atmosphere is relaxing and soothing, with the sound of the sea on one side and instrumental music playing on the other side (not live, but nice), creating the perfect environment for relaxation and unwinding from a sunny hot day, surfing, kayaking, island hopping, or any other activities you choose to do, which there are plenty. There is a gym corner available and massage, manicure, and pedicure services on demand. Be ready to adjust your expectations for the remote island. Not all food is always available on the menu, and there is no power grid. The resort runs on solar panels, batteries, and a backup generator, so sometimes there are disruptions in the power supply. We had a minor room description discrepancy, and the situation was professionally and positively handled by the resort manager. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here, and on our last day, we were already missing the beauty of this place.

Located roughly the on the beach. We walked into the water and swam. Very quiet and peaceful. The host family was so helpful and friendly. This is a lovely getaway from the bustle of El Nido, a short 37 ride.

I recently celebrated my birthday at Eco Camp Dos Playa on Darocotan Island, and it was an unforgettable experience! The place is perfect for anyone who wants to disconnect and fully immerse in the island’s natural beauty. It is great for solo travelers, couples and even families. And I loved meeting other guests from around the world, even celebrated my birthday with another guest! Roselyn and William are truly hands-on hosts. They made sure we were well taken care of, and the food was fantastic—William’s authentic Italian cuisine and the fresh seafood were some of the best I’ve had. The location is breathtaking, with vibrant coral reefs to explore and twin beaches that offer both sunrise and sunset views. At night, the stargazing is simply magical. I should have booked more than just one night, but since it was a last-minute trip, I’ll definitely be back soon! Some other guests even extended their stay, which shows just how much everyone enjoyed and appreciated staying at Eco Camp Dos Playa. I couldn’t have asked for a better, more peaceful getaway!
