Perfect location for our family’s needs. Everything was present that we needed as well.. bikes, canoe, fire pit, cooking utensils,pots,pans, and so much more. The canal and sound were beautiful and location was lovely with friendly people. Also only a few min bike ride to the beach.

I stayed here previously which is why I returned. The location to restaurants, shopping and especially the beach were ideal. Also, the hotel has breakfast and a gym which is ideal for myself as I traveled alone.

The suite was spacious and nicely appointed: great shower, beds, kitchen facilities. The room had a view of the ocean that was outstanding.

The location is wonderful! My room was fantastic with a hot tub! The view of the ocean is phenomenal. Very reasonable prices at the bar and for dinner.

Above all the location is 10/10 - it’s a 3 minute walk from the beach, a 3 minute walk from a really good bar and seafood place (Awful Arthurs) and shop, the Avalon Pier which does music, fishing rentals, booze and arcade games, and Jolly Roger, another restaurant. We stayed three days- one of them we didn’t even leave the area it was solid. 10 minute drive to Kitty Hawk as well.

Offering an outdoor pool and beach access, this Kill Devil Hills motel is only 1.7 mi from the Wright Brothers National Memorial. Free Wi-Fi is provided. Bodie Island Lighthouse is 11 mi away.

Loved this little motel, our favorite so far amongst the little motels. This one is exceptionally clean. The staff is outstanding, super helpful and kind. And the linens and comforter is made out of 100% cotton. I had the best shower in the rain shower. The location is very close to the beach so we could walk 2 min every day and enjoy the beach. I also liked that it was ground floor so we could park the car a few yards from the entrance which helped with packing. Very safe location too. Simply wonderful
