It's peacefully, nice view

I had booked my mother a stay the weekend after her 60th birthday. She loved the stay and said that the staff was welcoming and friendly.

Food was great We ate on the patio which was special Servers were attentive

I loved the location closer to shops, beach and main road. cleanliness in the rooms it was a top notch.

Didnt have breakfast but had coffee it was delicious!

There is NO Breakfast, that is One thing Impongo Royal Lodge MUST include on their Menu. Otherwise the Lodge facilities were great. I can't complain.

I like the place it is quite during sleep time the place was clean

Pam spoiled me during my stay!! Everything was amazing. They made me breakfast and dinner both nights so I didn’t have to walk or order out food. She even gave me a ride into town. The absolute sweetest. Thank you so much for having me Pam! 💕

The dinning area, sitting area and the outside of the rooms (lawn) were magnificent.

It was very quiet and peaceful. Comfortable beds too

Clean, very organized preparations. Owner went extra mile to ensure we have all cutlery, utensils, appliances and comfort! Every but if the house had an extra touch slowing she's really passionate about her business!

The friendliness of the staff in both the hotel and bar/restaurant. The hotel staff were most accommodating for early check in and late check out as well as providing a light lunch on a Sunday.

The room was neat and beautiful

The sea view 🤗 was amazing both sunset and sunrise 🔆. The security takes a cup for me, you immediately feel safe .

Actually I love everything about that place ,it was clean , comfortable and friendly staff

The place is definitely recommendable. Wonderful accommodation, very good service and close to shopping facilities.

The location and view were amazing, the house was very comfortable.

Walking distance from the (Intercape) bus station. My room in this small house was very clean and quiet. Good bed, plenty of hot water in the shower, AC funtioning well.

I stayed at Umuzi Guest House for three nights prior to spending six weeks doing conservation in the African bush. It was a very enjoyable short stay, made so largely by the consideration shown to me by the hosts, Annie and Gary. They not only came to pick me up at the airport and then took me back when it was time for me to leave, they took me out to shop when it was raining (it’s an easy walk to the shops and restaurants when it’s nice) and they even offered to cook me breakfast. It was more like I was a friend visiting than a paying guest. The guest house itself is in located in a quiet section of Richard’s Bay with an attractive pool out front. My room was perfect for a single person or a couple, providing a comfortable bed, plenty of space to stow belongings, a nice sofa, and a kitchen with all the basics. The bathroom is very comfortable with both a shower and a bathtub. There was some difficulty with leaking of the roof during a heavy rain, but it wasn’t a problem; I didn’t even change rooms, though they offered me the opportunity as soon as I told them about the issue. In short, I would highly recommend staying at this guest house for anyone staying in Richard’s Bay, particularly if you’re there for an extended stay.
