Hotel communicated very well prior to arrival and we received some of the best hospitality we have ever received. The family that run the hotel were very attentive and absolutely lovely. Plus the view of sunrise from our room and the clear night skies were exceptional.

HOSTS The lodge is run by a local family, Alicia, her husband, and their child, and all of them are super attentive hosts, always there for you if something additional is needed. LOCATION The lodge is ideally located in what is called "the town", so you'll be close not only to the best-ranked restaurants, but also to many stores where you can get from snacks to fruits and vegetables. It has a stunning view, which literally leaves you speechless, and yes, it's worth every step you climb to get up there (believe us, you'll appreciate staying there!) From here, you'll be able to start trekking to the north, and to the Pilkokaina temple, skipping the first challenging climbing if staying around the port, and if you like exploring, there are many hills in the surroundings to visit with unbelievable views, which are not commonly visited. An additional plus: you're a few steps away from the best sunset viewpoint. BEDROOM My husband and I took the Double Room with Lake View, which has a queen bed and a private bathroom. Both areas, the bedroom and the bathroom, were super tidy and clean. Besides the basic toiletries, we were provided with two shower towels and a shower mat. We stayed 5 nights and we had cleaning service without any additional cost. The bedroom has a nice and pleasant temperature all day, and this is possible thanks to the bedroom's compact design, the wooden floor, the alpaca bedside rugs, and the hermetic windows. Also, the bed has enough blankets to keep you warm during the cold nights, which we consider important. BREAKFAST We had breakfast included, and we can say it's exactly what someone needs to yield physically while exploring the island, and of course, natural ingredients & yummy! (Basically: local herbs infusion, tea or coffee, natural orange juice, scrambled eggs, butter and jam, local bread).

Oscar was so nice to us. He made us a great meal. The trout was fantastic. In the morning also we got a great breakfast. He treated us as kings. The view was also fantastic. Please ask Oscar to organize the mulls for your coffins. It is quite a walk to all the hotels. Utasawa is quit near compared to other hotels.

INTI WASI LODGE er staðsett í Comunidad Yumani og státar af einkastrandsvæði og garði ásamt veitingastað. We had a small independent room with bathroom and a great view on the lake and the mountains, really fantastic! The view alone was worth the price! The breakfast was good and the wifi connection stable. The owners are super kind and helpful. They can prepare dinner if you ask for it in advance, we were always satisfied with the quality.

Quilla Wasi - ISLA DEL SOL er staðsett í Comunidad Yumani og býður upp á garð, verönd, veitingastað og ókeypis WiFi hvarvetna á gististaðnum. Beautiful sunrise view from terrace and bedroom window from second floor. Relatively new rooms with modern bathroom and hot shower. WiFi was good. Breakfast was filling. About 30 minutes walk up but that means you're only 10 minutes from the top where you can find lots of restaurants with sunset views. Nicely decorated room.

This was by far my prettiest stay during my trip through Bolivia! A beautiful, family run hotel with a sun terrace with gorgeous views over the little port/beach. The rooms are authentically decorated, spacious and comfortable with en suite bathroom, a comfy bed and warm duvets. There is even a heater provided, which was practical in the evening. The staff is friendly and helpful with everything. The food is delicious, the hotel offers a good variety of different dishes, all home made. I enjoyed my stay here and can highly recommend this accommodation.

Hostal Inti Uma Kala er staðsett í Comunidad Challapampa, 2,8 km frá Chinkana og Mama Ojjlla. Boðið er upp á gistirými við ströndina og ýmiss konar aðstöðu, svo sem garð. The view of the hostel was amazing, especially for sunrise. Hot showers and comfortable beds.

Hosteria LAS ISLAS er staðsett í Comunidad Yumani á eyjunni Isla del Sol og býður upp á verönd. Gistirýmið er með svalir og útsýni yfir vatnið. Öll herbergin eru með verönd með fjallaútsýni. The owner 100%! Very helpful, lovely lady.
