She even serviced the apartment and offered to do the washing up every day (though I felt a bit guilty about that), making it more like a hotel than an apartment. The shower was great! The kitchenette has a fridge, microwave and coffee machine, so we could prepare simple meals. The Coop in Switzerland was great for food shopping. Neuchatel is a beautiful town and a regular bus to the town centre ran from almost directly outside. We took full advantage of the tourist card and went to multiple museums (especially Latenium) and trips on a boat and funicular. We even had a view of snow on the Alps from the apartment on our last day.
