Perla negra/Black pearl was a great find. It is a bit outside the center of town in quiet residential area - but as it is a very small town, it is only a ~5 minute walk from the central square. The room is big and comes with a terrace where you can chill - in case you do not feel like lounging in the hammocks in the breakfast area. Room, bathroom and the entire place are very very clean and well-maintained. The mattress is super comfortable, the bathroom spacious and with a good, hot shower. And as an added bonus you get Lienke, a wonderful host who welcomed us very warmly and gave us a great introduction to the town and the island and made us yummy breakfasts every morning. We can recommend the Black Pearl wholeheartedly! Thank you soooo much Lienke!

Large spacious clean rooms with Netflix and a bar right outside. Excellent buffet breakfast and great service and friendly staff.

This is a lovely place to stay Puerto Villamille. it is very comfortable, with plenty of outdoor space to relax in, including a top floor deck. Carlos and Rebekka were more than helpful in so many ways. Breakfast was good. The inn is right across a sand street from a wonderful beach. It’s on the edge of town, and so is quiet. I would have to say that there may be better places to stay, but probably many times more expensive. Value for money, this must be one of the best places to stay on Isabela.

Sula Sula is a familiar hostal. It is simple, but very comfortable. Our room was very big, a lot of place to put the luggage and to hang clothes. Bed was comfortable, shower worked very good and air conditioner worked very good too. The windows have protection against mosquitos, so you can leave the windows open and get natural light. The wifi doesn't work very well in the room, but it works very good at the reception and there are a place with sofas also to use the wifi. The room was clean and the whole hostal was always clean, even though the streets in Isabela island are dirt streets. Julio and his family are super nice and welcomes you as family. Julio arranged tours for us, that were very good, kayaking and los tuneles, for a better price than other agencies. He also gave us tips where to rent the best bikes and what we shouldn't miss. He also arranged for us the boat to Santa Cruz. There is water for the guests to refill our water bottles and the breakfast had everything we needed: fruit, yogurt, eggs, tea, bread, jam. Check-in and check-out was so smooth, we got our room by the time we arrived and could stay until the time had to leave for the boat. Everybody on Isabela Island is so friendly and easygoing. We loved our stay at Sula Sula and can't wait to go back!

Such a beautiful location, literally right on the beach. Staff so accommodating. Breakfast marvellous. Simply loved relaxing and enjoying Isabela. Lots of great bars and places to eat very close. We also took a ‘Tuneles’ boat/ snorkelling tour that front desk recommended and it was brilliant. Thank you for an amazing holiday!

La Casa de Joel er staðsett í Puerto Villamil og býður upp á gistirými með loftkælingu og svölum. Gististaðurinn er með útsýni yfir borgina og hljóðláta götu. An exceptionally generous and attentive host. A large room. Close to grocery stores, a bakery, and a couple of good restaurants off the main street. The free bikes were delightfully useful during our stay. Free laundry. Unlimited drinking water supply. Would certainly recommend to a friend
