Situated in Marsa Alam City, La Casa Guest House features accommodation with seating area. This beachfront property offers access to darts, free private parking and free WiFi. I had a wonderful stay, my room was clean and comfortable. There’s very pleasant roof top terrace for breakfast and also to relax during the day. The host(s) looked after me and gave a lot of information and helped me with my onward journey to Aswan. I visited beautiful beach called Tondoda, about 12 km by car from the guest house.

With a bar, the property also features water sports facilities, as well as a private beach... incredible architecture, the rooms were amazing - we were in the suite- it was stunning - absolutely huge! overlooking the sea from our bed watching the sunrise every morning. couldn’t be better. the location was perfect if you want some quiet. It was away from the tourist area of port ghalib but only 20 minutes by car if you wanted to go there. there is a private beach and jetty where you can snorkel off and a diving centre next to it if you want to go diving. All the staff were incredibly friendly and treated us like family, helped organise everything we needed. We decided to hitchhike as is very common to do so there and gave us more freedom with to stopping off at places and meeting locals but if you don’t want to do that they can easily organise transport. The place itself has everything you need there to relax and wind down. excursions can be organised from the hotel. the nearest town is Marsa alam about 15 minutes drive which is currently not touristy and gives you a taste of actual life there but not a lot there. We walked for miles along the beach to different coves although you have an amazing reef on your doorstep, do be mindful that some beaches are privately owned by resorts though and security will not let you through. The chef, mahamoud is incredible, every meal was amazing, 5* food ate like royalty! 3 course dinner every evening with set menu but I’m a vegetarian so he did me vegetarian options. Fathy who works in the bar looked after us so well and we have made a lovely friend. I do not often go back to the same place on holiday as I like to explore but we will definitely be back here!

Several pools, 2 comfortably heated in winter. Nubian style rooms, nicely decorated. Very good food, well organized service, attentive waiters. All orher staff perfect, ready to help, smiling, greeting. 2 coral molo's. Great public accessible beach 1 km north of the hotel with amazing corals and tranquil water.
