A fantastic place to stay, in my opinion - my room was large and offered everything needed. It was not the bland usual hotel thing but rather it was nicely decorated for a distinct experience. The location right on the lake is wonderful, with views across the water to the north, and a deck for sitting outside if one wants to, during meals or just for pleasure. Overall, this hotel gives the impression that the owners care and want guests to be comfortable, and it is still small enough to not be the usual bland thing of a large hotel, while offering all one could wish for. Downtown is within walking distance.

Lapland Arctic Cabins er staðsett í um 47 km fjarlægð frá Suomu-fjalli og státar af útsýni yfir vatnið og býður upp á gistirými með verönd. We had a lovely stay, the cabins are really comfortable. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy. It’s also close to markets & restaurants.

Lapland Arctic Guesthouse er staðsett í Kemijärvi, 47 km frá Suomu-fjalli og býður upp á loftkæld gistirými og einkastrandsvæði. We loved the location right by the lake, especially with the outdoor fire where you can cook your meals and enjoy breakfast in the morning. Everything was spotless. The host was also very kind, when we asked, he gladly washed the clothes we had from our trekking trip.

Wanha Kaivoþakgä Mainari Oy er staðsett í Kemijärvi í Lapplandi og í innan við 14 km fjarlægð frá Misi. The cherry on top was that the place had the kitchen supplies one needs.

Soppela Retreat at the Arctic Circle er staðsett í Kemijomuärvi, 46 km frá Suomu-fjallinu, og býður upp á útsýni yfir vatnið. Tania the host was absolutely fantastic. Our car broke down while we were there and she helped us out every way she could. Even made us some food and pastry for when we were finally on our way. 100% recommended
