There is such a difference in a property that is managed by owners as you get that personal experience. There was also a personal greeting for us in the apartment. The apartment was spacious with all amenities. The bed, pillow and towels were all of excellent quality. The location was close to several restaurants that could be walked to. On our three trip through Italy this was the best place we have stayed! If I could rate higher than 10/10 I would.

The Hotel Ristorante Villa Crespi is set in an impressive 19th-century building surrounded by private gardens which lead to a beautiful lake. Remarkable historical palazzo, member of Relais & Châteaux. The service here is outstanding — staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Everything is perfectly taken care of, and breakfast is just amazing. Orta is a lovely place to explore while discovering the lake region.
