The rooms were very clean and have everything needed.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, sea view and a balcony, プチリゾート・ひじきwest is located in Hijiki. What a strange little gem. We were very impressed. The house is built from containers, but is impressively usable. Well equipped, both in the kitchen, terrace and beach equipment. Cozy little quiet town. Shopping and restaurants are a little bit of a distance away, so do your shopping on the way there and enjoy the house, view and beach. Highly recommendable. Nice and friendly host.

Ken-san greeted me to help carry my bags. Upon check-in he brought me tea and I enjoyed the view of the sea from the common space/ kitchen area. The place is beautifully rustic and immaculately clean. I could have spent days just starting at the sea. And the food…. Wow. Everything from the garden or the sea. A delicious craft beer which felt well deserved after a walk to the lighthouse. And finally an amazing and very hot sauna before bed. This was more than just a night’s stay- it was an inspiration on how to live in harmony with nature. I didn’t want to leave and hope to come back.
