We had the best homestay experiance ever (with few months traveling in Japan its quite hard to beat). It felt like visiting friends or family. We are glad we ordered breakfast and dinner, since Maki is a professional chef and made us absolutely delicious food. Even though it's not very popular destination of traveling there is plenty to do around. We can't wait to be back.

Not a lot of tourists or visitors so was not crowded. Beautiful scenery . Excellent buffet breakfast and dinner. Very excellent staff. Walking distance everywhere and lots of trails. Room is as shown in photos. Ocean view is a must when staying here. Free shuttle to and from Miyako station. Onsen was excellent.

Konosu Onsen 鴻の巣温泉 1F is a recently renovated guest house in Sendai, where guests can make the most of its open-air bath and garden. Great location, really friendly owner who was very accommodating. Felt more than welcome and couldn’t recommend a better place to stay.
