The location is perfect, in the centre of Arugam Bay, with many restaurants, spas and beach enterings nearby. The staff was the best - the owner is truly an amazing and helpful person. It's also great that you can rent a board, buy a lesson with a surfing instructor or organise safari trips with the staff in the hotel and the service is always on point. In the room there is everything you may need, there is also a shared kitchen, a clothes dryer and a shower outside which is convenient after surfing or if you want to cool your drinks in the fridge. The room is comfy and very clean (they also do the cleaning every 2 days), and the AC works well, the bed is also big. Would totally recommend :)

Tropicana Home Stay er nýlega enduruppgerð heimagisting sem er staðsett við Arugam-flóa, 100 metrum frá Arugam Bay-strönd. Boðið er upp á garð og garðútsýni. Location was great, we had everything nearby. Welcoming hosts, who made sure we have everything, also happily gave extra info/ideas we needed. Room was spacious and the bed was comfyyy They also let us keep our bags there while we stayed in the town

Beachfront Location: Whisky Point Resort in Arugam Bay offers a private beach area and direct beachfront access. Guests enjoy sea views and a serene garden setting. This is PARADISE! exactly like I have seen it described in books. Everything is just created to make you not want to ever leave ❤️ me and my fiancé had such a great experience here. When we have arrived, we had a bad cold, and everyone has mobilized to make us feel better: pills, teas, all kinds of ayurvedic medicines were given to us to make us feel better. I felt like we were at our parents homes, and they're going above and beyond to make us feel better. Rooms: we got an upgrade to a room with bathroom and, even though we paid for the lower one, we were offered for free the upper one - very nice gesture 👍 we never slept better - ocean sound and breeze, there is a balcony for each cabana. Super clean, great design, bathrooms are big. Lovely :) The food: Italian base, I had the best pizza ever. Also, we love soup, so their chicken soup is perfect. Staff: amazing. Also, the owners are very fun and welcoming, it was a pleasure to meet them. Activities: the complex is at the ocean front. So we bathed and sun bathed, the weather was amazing. Also, you can learn how to surf, get a massage, play board games, go to safari, go into the lagoon on the beach or by boat, tuktuk to PottuVill, which is much better than Arugam Bay, being more local. I don't have enough good words for this accomodation. I am now looking at options to come back in Jan-Feb and stay for longer than 3 days 😄

Lucky Bay er staðsett í Arugam-flóa, í innan við 60 metra fjarlægð frá Arugam Bay-ströndinni og 1,9 km frá Pasarichenai-ströndinni. The best part about this place is Mohammed, he made sure we were always comfortable, he always had delicious snacks for us. The room was really comfortable, with AC and a fan. Just next to the beach, and a really good surf school. Would recommend.

Absolutely stunning, private, peaceful and relaxing. Our whole stay at Blue Water was perfect, the cabanas are cute, clean and spacious for couples. We couldn’t fault anything. We stayed for my 40th birthday and the team decorated our room, what a lovely surprise on entry. Although there is no air conditioning, the fans in the room are sufficient and the cabanas are designed well with openings for a breeze. Rinos is amazing, he was so attentive and looked after all of our needs. He’s really friendly, a pleasure to meet and an excellent chef. Sudha and Dinosan are both phenomenal, they make sure the whole area around the cabanas are pristine, they take so much pride and leave patterns in the sand for guests. There is a good variety of food, the fresh juices are so tasty. We had breakfast and dinner most days and Rinos catered for our tastes. The beach is private and only a few steps away, most days we were the only ones there, it is paradise. At night we fell asleep to the sound of the waves. Thank you Blue Water you made our stay unforgettable.

Bay Dreams Beach Hotel í Arugam Bay býður upp á gistirými sem eru aðeins fyrir fullorðna með garði, bar og sameiginlegri setustofu. Wonderful property and host! Iqbal and his staff were so warm and welcoming! They went above and beyond making sure I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay! I was welcomed with delicious pineapple juice and a pastry. I ended extending my stay because it was such a warm and cozy place to spend a few days at the beach. Beach access is a few meters away. Iqbal also arranged surf lessons to peanut farm and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Best surf coach I’ve ever had! The room was very clean and spacious with hangers for wet clothes and storage. The hammocks outside each room are a very nice touch and relaxing. Each morning, the breakfast was very good and tasty! Lots of fresh fruit! Whatever you need, Iqbal and his team will take care of. Had a lot of nice chats with Iqbal. He will be missed! Wish I could stay for longer. Will definitely be back to this cozy piece of paradise.

Stay Golden er staðsett við Arugam-flóa, nokkrum skrefum frá Pasarichenai-strönd og býður upp á gistirými með ókeypis reiðhjólum, ókeypis einkabílastæði, útisundlaug og garð. Stay Golden is a beautiful and chill place to stay. We loved everything: the room, the pool, the food, the beach, the staff,... we even booked an extra night. It was wonderful. We booked a lagoon boat trip and a safari in Kumana National Park and we were amazed by the amount of animals we've seen. We took a yoga and a pilates class too. Would definitely come back here!!
