From the moment we arrived, Rinas treated us so well! We had a lovely room with an extremely comfy bed! AC was excellent too and he made sure we had very good Wi-Fi Rinas organised a safari for us which was amazing, having already done one in Hurulu (saw 26 elephants) we wanted to try and observe a leopard. We chose to go with this safari over Yala due to the crowds. It was low season in Arugam and we do not regret it! The safari was incredible, the landscape alone was so different to up north and it was not crowded in any way! I think we saw 6-7 jeeps all day! To top it off , we saw a leopard really close in the last hour of our tour. We were estatic! How Rinas and the driver spot all the different animals is unbelievable Rinas helped us get the correct bus to Mirissa. As it’s low season, there wasn’t too many choices of restaurants but the one that stood out for us was Bay Vista ( the curry was unreal)

Absolutely loved our stay at The Woodnest! Everything about this place was perfect. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the beach, yet peaceful and quiet. The rooms are beautifully designed, clean, and comfortable with lovely garden views. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety. We especially loved the relaxing outdoor spaces and the calm atmosphere all around. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Arugam Bay!

Tropicana Home Stay er nýlega enduruppgerð heimagisting sem er staðsett við Arugam-flóa, 100 metrum frá Arugam Bay-strönd. Boðið er upp á garð og garðútsýni. Location was great, we had everything nearby. Welcoming hosts, who made sure we have everything, also happily gave extra info/ideas we needed. Room was spacious and the bed was comfyyy They also let us keep our bags there while we stayed in the town

We had a lovely stay. The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed a family supper on a Friday night which was on the house. This consisted of a delicious traditional curry buffet. The rooms were clean and comfortable with nice decorative touches. Thank you Agra for an amazing stay!

Romance in Bey er staðsett í Arugam-flóa, í innan við 200 metra fjarlægð frá Arugam Bay-ströndinni og 2 km frá Pasarichenai-ströndinni. The owners here are fabulous hosts, and very willing to help with great local knowledge. Younger foreign couple, with fluent english. Rooms are very clean with good working fan, and mosquito net for sleeping. AC option if needed. Excellent location, and right in the center to walk everywhere. Two minutes to the beach. Excellent value - Highly recommended!!!

Beachfront Location: Whisky Point Resort in Arugam Bay offers a private beach area and direct beachfront access. Guests enjoy sea views and a serene garden setting. You will truly relax here. The property is pretty much spotless and located just meters from the Indian Ocean, which means you can hear the waves ALL NIGHT. The staff is super attentive and thoughtful, from the caretakers to the bartenders to the management. I was also pleasantly surprised to find real Neapolitan pizza, a wide selection of Italian wines, and caffè corretto with Sambuca (!) – just when I started missing European flavors a bit ;) And if that wasn’t enough, the yoga classes first thing in the morning put you in a blissful mood. Would definitely come back <3

Lucky Bay er staðsett í Arugam-flóa, í innan við 60 metra fjarlægð frá Arugam Bay-ströndinni og 1,9 km frá Pasarichenai-ströndinni. It is with a heavy heart that our stay at Lucky Bay ends. Thank you to Mohamed and his family for all the attention they gave us, they spoiled us every day with delicious little treats. Thank you Mohamed for your kindness and hospitality. We had a wonderful stay. We affirm that it was one of our most beautiful encounters of our trip. The hotel is a small haven of peace very well maintained, its fabulous garden puts us in a relaxing atmosphere. 10m from the beach and right next to the best breakfast in Arugam Bay, the location is ideal. Lucky Bay we love you

Bay Dreams Beach Hotel í Arugam Bay býður upp á gistirými sem eru aðeins fyrir fullorðna með garði, bar og sameiginlegri setustofu. Wonderful property and host! Iqbal and his staff were so warm and welcoming! They went above and beyond making sure I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay! I was welcomed with delicious pineapple juice and a pastry. I ended extending my stay because it was such a warm and cozy place to spend a few days at the beach. Beach access is a few meters away. Iqbal also arranged surf lessons to peanut farm and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Best surf coach I’ve ever had! The room was very clean and spacious with hangers for wet clothes and storage. The hammocks outside each room are a very nice touch and relaxing. Each morning, the breakfast was very good and tasty! Lots of fresh fruit! Whatever you need, Iqbal and his team will take care of. Had a lot of nice chats with Iqbal. He will be missed! Wish I could stay for longer. Will definitely be back to this cozy piece of paradise.

Very nice, place, about 10 minutes walk from the center of Arugam Bay, but they provide free bicycles, so it’s relatively easy to get there. The bungalows are spacious and comfortable, breakfast is filling enough and they provide free yoga sessions every day and also surfing lessons (cost is similar to that in the city).
