A very nice and comfortable place to stay. A gem of a place very close to Batticaloa. We spent a few nights there. It was very nice. The staff there are also very nice. The plastic on the beach there really bothered us. We are just mentioning it here. It is not their fault. The municipal council there should take responsibility for this.

A hidden gem in Passikudah – absolutely recommended! The Dream Inn Guesthouse truly surprised us in the best possible way. From the moment we arrived, the host was incredibly attentive, warm, and welcoming. We stayed in the spacious garden villa, which offered more than enough room for the three of us—our 9-year-old son even had his own bed. The room was spotlessly clean, air-conditioned, and equipped with a top-quality mattress that gave us two very restful nights. One of the highlights was the semi-open bathroom, beautifully integrated into the natural surroundings—functional, charming, and impeccably clean. We especially loved the peaceful little garden terrace, which opened up into a lovingly maintained garden and offered the perfect spot to relax. The location is also ideal—just a short 2 to 5-minute walk from several stunning and quiet beaches. Breakfast was another highlight. We chose the local Sri Lankan option each morning and were blown away by how delicious and authentic it was. In summary: a friendly host, excellent comfort and cleanliness, beautiful natural surroundings, and amazing local food. We only stayed for two nights this time, but we will definitely come back—and stay longer next time! Highly recommended!

Hotel krish er staðsett í Kalkudah, í innan við 50 metra fjarlægð frá Kalkudah-ströndinni og í innan við 1 km fjarlægð frá Pasikuda-ströndinni, en það býður upp á herbergi með loftkælingu og... This is a fantastic little accommodation! Less than a minute away from a perfect beach (golden sands, coconut trees, calm blue waters). There was no one else on the beach on both days that we went. Mrs Krish is a lovely and attentive host, she was kind enough to cook us delicious Sri Lankan breakfasts and fish curry for dinner. The rooms are big, comfy, clean and have strong AC and a ceiling fan. Within walking distance from a few restaurants, shops, ATM. Would definitely stay again!

Facing the beachfront, Karpaha Sands offers 5-star accommodation in Pasikuda and features free bikes, outdoor swimming pool and garden. A little piece or paradise! Dreamiest beach, amazing pool and really nice luxury tents. Had a lovely stay at this resort.

Basically almost everything. The most decent owner I have encountered in Sri Lanka, he even tolerated me there up to the last moment even though he was closing the place for couple of days and I was the last guest to leave. He would arrange food or drinks, all brought asap. Location in Navalady is quite remote, but serene and beautiful.

Sun Siyam Pasikudah er staðsett í Kalkudah og býður upp á friðsæl og þægileg gistirými með ókeypis WiFi. This is definitely the nicest hotel along this stretch of beach. The pool was absolutely amazing especially as it's not a great place to swim in the sea on this particular part of the beach due to corals shallow water. If you want to have a good swim you need to walk further up the beach. but the pool was so great I didn't care! The setting is fabulous. I loved the crows in the palm trees and the nature. The room was huge and extremely comfortable. The pillows fabulous and the mattress and everything really comfortable. I loved that they had the option of a ceiling fan. I did look at the other hotels on a walk and I'm glad I picked this one ! The laundry service was fantastic and managed to get a stain out of a really badly stained shirt. Miracle workers! The staff are very kind and helpful and will go out of their way to make things nice.

Special shout out to Ruchira who made our children’s stay unforgettable. Spacious rooms. An unforgettable stay. Highly recommend.

Genuin hospitality; you find it here. A place for true “foodies”… the Chef deserves a Michelin star. Complementary afternoon tea followed by a generous and “very happy hour”. This place is a rare Gem if you look for a total relax.
