I booked Swanee Grand for one night after my midnight arrival from Australia. I had earlier in the year stayed at a 4 star hotel by the beach in Negombo, part of a large Sri Lankaen chain for the night after my arrival. This stay at the Swanee was so much more beautiful. We were awaited by the lovely staff with welcome drinks at 1am. The grounds are beautifully maintained, we had the swimming pool to ourselves the next morning. The property is colonial style with a really nice feel to it. The rooms were very well looked after and clean. It is a little oasis when you drive through the gate while so close to the airport. Perfect start to my second trip to Sri Lanka, I wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you to the team there! I will certainly book again for my next visit.

Audrey, the host, was very welcoming, as well as his all family. It was our first stay in Sri Lanka and he helped with the arrangement of the driver, what to do on the way to Ella. Breakfast were fantastic, as the juices they make are to die for. Audrie's wife, amazing woman and cook, for me as a passionate cook as well, she letted me into her kitchen to show how pumping curry with shark's meat is made. Sensational. Even though she was cooking Christmas dinner for their family, she gave us a plate to taste. Would definitely come back, 100 % recommend

Set in Negombo, within 500 metres of Wellaweediya Beach and 1.8 km of St Anthony's Church, SIRENA Villa Holiday lodge offers accommodation with a private beach area as well as free private parking for... Sanjee is truly a phenomenal host, he is always there for you. He helped arrange transport, gave us a tour of the city and prepared delicious Sri Lankan curry. We will have fond memories. Also, the beds were top & the room is spacious. We were able to start our trip rested and feeling good. Thank you!

Everything was great from the beginning. We had to wait for our room to be ready and in the meantime they provided us with an additional breakfast. The arranged for us a boat tour and a driver for the next morning and the howner helped me with some issues with my cards. Very kind family businnes place!!!

The huts are comfortable, clean, and spacious. The staff are incredibly accomodating, friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The food is great. The pool is nice. They also organise other activities for you if you want - like a boat safari and spa days. Each hut comes with a hammock too, which was beautiful!

We arrived close to midnight after booking the room shortly before. Despite the late hour, the room was prepared within just 20 minutes. It was beautifully presented and spacious enough for two people. The bed was comfortable, and hot water was readily available. The staff and owner were exceptionally kind and went out of their way to be helpful.

Very quiet location, and a short walk to the main street. Cafes and restaurants all walking distance. Staff is very helpful. There is a call bell in the common area if you need them. Very clean and modern. Rooms have Air conditioning and fan. Please note that you do need to walk up a staircase to access the rooms.
