The Flamingo Experience in San Juan del Sur provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a bar. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. We stayed at the Flamingo experience for a week and it is just an amazing experience. We've stayed at nice places in Costa Rica, Bali, South Africa and all over the world - but this gem hidden in a piece of paradise is at the very top. Ali and Frania are incredible, hospitable hosts who go out of their way to make you feel welcome, well looked after and your stay enjoyable. Their dogs are also very friendly. The roar of the waves crashing on the beach is at your front porch, whether sitting in the wonderful pool or in your room with the amazing view. Here you can surf, ride motorbike, enjoy massages, go bar/restaurant hopping, hiking and more. God willingly we will surely visit again! Come here if you want an adventurous vacation or if you just need to relax and feed your soul, whether alone, with friends or as a romantic getaway.

Set in Popoyo and with Popoyo Beach reachable within a few steps, Stella Mar Oceanfront Hotel offers a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace. The location is perfect, right on the beach. It has great access to Beginner’s Bay and all the restaurants on the Guasacate side. Rooms were big, with plenty of fans to keep you cool and the deck was the perfect spot to relax with a hammock and a chair. Corey did a great job pointing us in the right direction for food, activities and rentals.

Set in Popoyo, 200 metres from Santana Beach, Tukasa - Surfhouse Popoyo offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. Very well designed spaces. Super friendly staff. Great breakfast. Close to two consistent surf spots. Always nice people to hang with, also when you travel alone.

Facing the seafront in Altagracia, La Sirenita - Ometepe has a garden and a bar. The property features mountain and lake views, and is 6.2 km from Maderas Volcano. We loved our stay here, the rooms are spacious, comfortable and chic, and right on the most beautiful beach in ometepe, with a volcano view. Was a pleasure hanging out with all the animals and soaking in the vibes of the location and the people it attracts

Situated in San Juan del Sur and with San Juan del Sur Beach reachable within 200 metres, Chale's House Hotel features concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a terrace. The accommodation starting from the staff, to the kitchen up to the rooms was impecable. The staff was really kind, the whole accommodation was amazingly clean, ESPECIALLY the kitchen was spotless. The shower had hot water.

Situated within a few steps of Popoyo Beach in Popoyo, Casa La Aventura Guasacate - Popoyo features accommodation with seating area. Awesome second-level apartment with a very spacious layout and a unique open-air loft bedroom that gives it such a cool vibe. The huge deck was a highlight, and the open-air bathroom and shower added to the one-of-a-kind design. The shared communal kitchen was well set up, and everything was clean and comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent and the location was great. I would definitely recommend this property. Gracias!

Daniela and her husband Tony are fabulous hosts and have created a beautiful, peaceful getaway spot. We felt so well cared for and they were delightful to chat with. Daniela’s breakfasts were outstanding!

This hostel is a hidden gem in paradise. As soon as I got here I felt immediately relaxed. You feel in touch with nature. The room is very cozy as well and not too hot at night. Also, it’s really close to playa maderas.

The cabin was constructed from sustainable materials. It was really unique and super cute. The space is large and comfortable. It had a view of the lake, and there was a little path you could walk down to the water.
