This family-run hostel lies by Lake Vangsvatnet, 1 km from the village of Voss. It has a TV lounge and a communal kitchen. Free WiFi is available in common areas. First the breakfast was amazing! Most of the products are from their farm and organic. Second, the room is clean and quite. We were 3 people but it can fit to 5. Stuff was very helpful. The public areas are enough. The view was excellent!

Historic Jaunsen Gjestgjevarstad offers home-cooked Norwegian cuisine, free Wi-Fi, and free private parking. Voss is 25 minutes’ drive away. After dinner in house (highly recommended) we were treated by our host to sample some of the local apple cider and a history of the guesthouse.
