Casa Kukama Lodge er staðsett í Iquitos og býður upp á fjallaútsýni, veitingastað, sameiginlegt eldhús, bar, garð og verönd. Ókeypis WiFi er í boði. The hosts were more than lovely, helping out with everything: food, transport....The location is beautiful next to the river, where you can swim and chat (depending on your Spanish) with the local kids, the hammock on your private balcony is amazing, the dogs were sweet but most of all the host and owners were amazing, had a great day trip tour arranged by them too.

Libertad Jungle Lodge býður upp á verönd og gistirými í Yucuruche. Gestir smáhýsisins geta notið þess að veiða og fara í kanóaferðir í nágrenninu eða notfært sér garðinn. My guide Larry met me at the airport and we travelled to the lodge. Although it was 3 hours time went fast watching the landscape go by. It was dry season for my visit so unfortunately the river way very low and the lodge was not on the river as per photographed on booking. I do wish this was explained. Otherwise i had an amazing 5 days. The accommodation was clean, the food was ok. It was different everyday but simple. My guide Larry was exceptional. His knowledge of the jungle, outstanding, and his English was perfect. We made a plan on arriving for what it would like to do in my time. Highlight was the caiman night tour and lily pads.
