Great team at the roof top bar and excellent cocktails. Housekeeping standards were incredible, every day the room was spotless. Room was a fantastic size for two people sharing. Plenty sockets throughout the room Brilliant high pressured shower WiFi connected automatically when we re entered the building.

No request seemed to phase her. She organized a tour of north eastern Maderia that was wonderful. The hotel is in an excellent location in the centre of the old part of Funchel, near the Municipal Gardens.

Perched on a cliff facing the Atlantic Ocean, this design hotel is within a renovated traditional farmhouse. Super location, high on a cliff overlooking the town and ocean. An easy walk through the town and to the waterfront. The meals were excellent. For breakfast you can have the buffet or order cooked items from a menu, or both. The dinner menu is outstanding with a wide range of options for fish, meat, and vegetarian, and everything we had was delicious. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Our room had a small balcony with a view overlooking the ocean. The bed was comfortable, and the firm pillows we requested were perfect.
