This place is absolutely amazing and I regret we only had short stay. I would definitely come back for longer relaxed holiday. We got a fully equipped small cottage - separate bedroom, bathroom and living space with modern kitchen equipment. Furnishing is stylish and looks new. Outside you can sit on the terrace and enjoy view of the beautiful horses. You are in the middle of nature. By short walk you get to a private beach on the lake - it is on the rocks, so maybe not for small children to play alone- but absolutely beautiful to sit, relax, you can do BBQ, swim. The nearest small town is 15 min drive where you have large supermarket and several restaurants. The hostess was friendly, came to welcome us and show everything.

Matatagpuan sa Sjötorp, 20 km mula sa Mariestad Train Station, ang Perssons i Backens Pensionat- Sjötorps Vandrarhem & Rum ay nag-aalok ng accommodation na may mga libreng bisikleta, libreng private... Location was BEAUTIFUL! Not far from the lake and the Gota Canal. Breakfast had a wide choice of fresh food. Great quality and quantity. Staff is VERY friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hostel.

Villa Billerud lies by the Byälven River, only 1.5 km from Säffle Train Station. In addition to free Wi-Fi and private parking, it offers a private beach with access to fishing and a big park. Personally, I found it to be easy to access by car as it was on the way to Oslo. I also think it's a great location as I can walk to the city center.
