Perfect retreat after exploring Sweden for two interrailers heading to Norway. The peace and tranquillity was idyllic. As was the proximity to the lake and forest walks. Cabin was toasty and cosy and the outdoor eating area was a bonus. Wished we could have spent longer there.

THE LODGE Torsby er sögulegt gistiheimili (Est.1836) sem er staðsett 18 km norður af Torsby og 50 km frá Sunne eða Malung. Real nice quiet location. View over the lake. Hosts were were very kind! The lodge has a really nivce livingroom in which you can relax. We has a super nice room with a view on the lake. Host Marc tiold us a lot about history of the really old lodge! This is an unqique place which we will try to visit again once!

The place is in a beautiful quiet location, there are flowers and terraces everywhere and a beautiful garden. The equipment is complete including a washing machine and dryer and a jacuzzi. Homely cozy environment. The landlady is very nice and helpful. We can definitely recommend it to everyone.

The location is peaceful and surrounded by stunning nature and wildlife. The house is brand new, beautifully designed, and very comfortable – everything feels high-quality and carefully thought out. It's the perfect spot to relax and recharge. We went canoeing on the nearby lake (included in the stay), which was such a peaceful experience. Paddleboards were also available for free, but we didn’t have time to try them – next time for sure! A real highlight was spotting a moose with her two calves in a field nearby – unforgettable! Don’t forget binoculars. The silence, the animals, and the whole setting make this place truly unique. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, comfort, and a deep connection with nature.

Set in Rottneros in the Värmland region, Linnåsen stuga features a garden. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. Our whole family had an incredibly fantastic holiday in this comfortable and cosy stuga (cottage). We were warmly welcomed by the owners with some fresh fruit. We had direct access to the lovely lake via a small beach and the private landing bridge and we were generously offered to use the little rowing boat to explore the lake. The stuga offers some finer details like a Jura coffee maker, real bed linens and a sliding door between the kitchen and the lounge, the morning sun with lake view on the balcony/terrace, the evenings sun on the front porch and plenty of space for a family of four.

The house was wonderful - spacious, good equipped (except of hairdryer), including playroom for kids with huge amount of toys. Exceptional view from living room window to backyard and lake. We enjoyed the stay:)

Our welcome was warm as well as the cinnamon buns we got ever morning! So tasty! The tent is comfortable and the fireplace made everything very cosy!
