There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. We had the most wonderful time with John, Véronique, Becky and John-Marc. They went out of their way to make it such a special holiday for us. My husband and I went there for one week and every day we discovered more of the island, the people and how they live. John can arrange every activity you want and we could decide that spontaneously in the morning. We went to the volcanoe, to the Yakel tribe, to a local english school, to the village nearby, to the local market and even cooked Simboro and Laplap with them. John also accompanied us on every trip and gave us additional informations and he even speaks the language clik, so he could also communicate with the people of the Yakel tribe. Every evening, after dinner, John made a fire at the nearby fireplace to enjoy the rest of the evening. When you want to see the real Tanna you definitely have to go to this place.

Without her prompt answer and exact suggestion and detailed information to every question I raised, I wouldn’t have made this volcano tour realized. Thank you Matha, and your team! A bit away from volcano village if that is focus.

The resort offers guests with an interior and exterior restaurant. Guests can enjoy snorkeling at the front of the resort, go hiking; or relax and read a book. The owners Silvana and John, as well as the staff always gave five star service. My wife who was not feeling well, was attended to by Silvana and she even had medication‘s flown in for the next day. The property is sensational from the lush landscape to the well appointed cave like rooms were enchanting. I have dove and snorkel in many places around the world. Rock Waters marine preserve right off their property equal. The best I have ever been to consider considering cuisine can be a challenge on Tanna Rock water chefs presented every single meal that was absolutely delicious. I cannot say enough about Rock Water resort. Thank you again Jon and Silvana.

Situated in Loanengo, Glowing Mountain view tree house features accommodation with a public bath and an open-air bath. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. African, American, Argentinian and Belgian dishes are served at the in-house restaurant. The hospitality of Philip, Susan and their sons was absolutely incredible. They were so gracious with their time without being over bearing on your privacy. This is the spot to stay when checking out the volcano side of Tanna. You will have everything you need to see the vanuatu culture from the perfect location. For reasonable rates, the hosts will take care of any other logistic you need. -Set up the 2 hour car ride to and from the airport. -Local recipe dinners by Susan and she’s a great cook. I believe they offered lunch as well but I was going on these great adventures they offer to guide you through: -A local village that will show you dances and rituals of their indigenous culture -A hot spring heated river that flows into the ocean overlooking the volcano -And of course, the hike to the rim of the volcano. I had so much time to chat with the family and they are all so kind. I don’t leave reviews, I was very compelled on this one. Stay in this treehouse. Friendly reminder to grab cash and break it down in Port Vila or at the market in Tanna.

The resort has a sun terrace and views of the sea, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the setting lovely. This locally run resort is an unsophisticated comfortable choice conveniently located near to the airport.
