The place was very cool, easy to find, nice, ample bedrooms with a private balcony, lots of green and trees to look at while listening to the sea. Everyone was very friendly and attentive, service was amazing, and there were even a dog and cat happy to greet us.

So we've tried a number of properties in the area, from the most expensive, to the most well known, but NOTHING beats Karahe Beach Hotel! Starting with location, it's one of only 4 properties right ON the beach, and it's away from the tourist zone, so it's the best of Manuel Antonio. And everyday their is a large family of monkeys that make their way down to the beach area in Karahe's trees, so you will see a ton of monkeys! Next, is the facilities. We stayed in the beach front building which I highly recommend for the best experience. The building and rooms are somewhat modern and very functional, from hot water, ac, great mattress, and a balcony overlooking the beach. WOW! And no review would be complete without mentioning the staff at the beach! Both Lynette and Juan Carlos really make this place feel like home. Their great service, and Pura Vida spirit draw us back every time. So muchas gracias to them! We also got to meet the owner, Kathreen, this past visit which was a real treat. And thank you to the front desk staff who are always very helpful. Lastly, their on-site restaurant is delicious. Breakfast is free for guests which is a great way to start the morning. Their menu has lots of favorites, and everything we've tried is yummy. So dont' hesitate, and book Karahe today!!

The La Vela Boutique Hotel it is located just 300 meters from the Manuel Antonio National Park. The LOCATION was amazing. We had a car rental but only used it once during our entire stay. Can walk to the beach, Manuel Antonio Park, and plenty of restaurants and markets around. Pool was fun! Saw monkeys, sloth, iguanas, and lizards on property. Breakfast was fantastic every morning. Traveled with our 3 year old and felt well taken care of by staff.

Situated in Quepos, 70 metres from Espadilla Beach, Hotel Arboleda features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The location was phenomenal. The veranda out side the room had a good view, was sheltered from the sun and a pleasant place to sit. The Hotel is set amongst forest and almost on the beach. The wildlife comes to you. The swimming pool has seen better days but it’s in a very special location and the capuchin monkeys regularly visit to hang out with their family. The beach is totally amazing. Manuel Antonio is only a 10 minute jaunt along the beach. This hotel is an experience in itself. Well worth a visit.
