The property policies did not allow pets and we had an emergency on the morning of the day we were supposed to arrive - we could not leave our dog at the dog hotel anymore. We called the owner to ask for an exception since we have a small dog and very well trained - he said that unfortunately there were some neighbors in the building who did not accept pets on the premises. And since we could not come in this situation, he said he cannot refund anything of the money since booking was collecting the money. When asking booking.com for a cancellation, the request for at least a partial refund was sent over to the owner but he did not accept any refund.
