Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Holiday Home Sanja is set in Makarska. This holiday home has a private pool, a garden, barbecue facilities, free WiFi and free private parking. The place indeed feels like home, not just a place to stay. Not only you have everything you need for a stay but lots of small details that make it feel cozy and home away from home. E.g. souvenirs here and there, hand-drawn pictures, board/card games in the living room, etc. On top of that 4 air conditioners and 4 TVs (literally in every room), 2 fully-stocked kitchens (the outdoor one with a wood-fired grill and pizza oven), a washing machine and a dishwasher, extra sheets, WiFi everywhere. The very own pool was a hit among our kids. It's not that big but is fine even for adults (around 9x3m with 1.5m depth). There's a massive outdoor bluetooth speaker, a table football and darts near the pool (which we also played daily), so it really feels as in the 5-star hotel. The host (Niko) is super-friendly and responsive and comes every 3 days to check the pool. But otherwise he is always available via WhatsApp for questions/requests. Also worth mentioning: - Privacy has a flip side of some extra work: the day starts with sweeping out olive tree leaves and removing flies from the pool. Not that hard though. - There are no neightbours so you can blast your music full-on, etc. But that also means some isolation: on foot you can only get to several wild beaches (which are also very nice; the attached aerial photo of a beach has the villa on the background); for anything else you'll need a car.

Very helpful host, Albert got us accommodated very well. Tip for hikers: good location to start mountain hike in early morning (summer) 4 hrs. or so to summit of Vosac from where you can enjoy excellent view on Makarska and sea. 30min walk from Nugal beach or other small beaches between Makarska and Tucepi where you can find some nice sea entrance- far from crowds and noise.
