We kicked off our Sardinia road trip in the best way possible at Pina and Francisco’s Agriturismo — and we would definitely recommend it to everyone who would stay near Alghero! Pina is a truly wonderful host. Even though we only speak a little Italian, she went out of her way to communicate with us using Google Translate, which we really appreciated. Our room was perfect — spotlessly clean, including the bathroom, and equipped with everything we needed. A big plus: the shower had great water pressure! On top of that, the breakfast was fantastic: eggs, prosciutto, cheese, juice, yogurt, coffee, cereal… everything you could want. And the homemade dolci? Absolutely incredible — so much so that we even asked Pina for her recipe! All in all, a solid 10/10 experience.

They went so far as to obtain dijon mustard for us for our cold cuts at breakfast when they heard about our love for good mustards. To top all of this off, Archangelo is a well trained pastry chef who’s creations are enjoyed at breakfast! Staying in a place like this, we could all become centenarians. About the room, it was spacious and spotless. The bed was quite comfortable, lighting was great in both the room and bathroom, and the medium sized refrigerator had a little larger freezer than most.
