The Axis Vermar is situated on the beach in Povoa de Varzim. It has an outdoor pool with a sun-lounger terrace and offers air-conditioned rooms with panoramic views of the North Atlantic Ocean. Axis Venmar is a lovely hotel, the breakfast was plentiful but the hot food was not good. The bar service was slow and some of the staff made you feel like they were putting them out for asking for service. It’s a nice hotel with a great pool but you will wait to be serviced.
