Great location by the beach. Nice view to the sea. Very comfortable apartment with all you need. Our host António was the best host ever.

Offering a terrace and river view, JP Ofir House is set in Fão, 400 metres from Ofir Beach and 33 km from Shipyards of Viana do Castelo. The quality of the apartment exceeded our expectations. It was clean; very well equipped; well decorated; exceptional views in both directions, with beautiful sunsets. Good stock of cleaning materials- and coffee capsules. Not a lot going on in the immediate vicinity, with a nearby cash only bar, and for good restaurants we needed to get in the car. The tower block was secured with remote gates, which were clearly needed when the area and beaches got very crowded at weekends. It was great to have the beach to ourselves in the week. The continuous sound of the surf appealed to us, but may not suit everyone.

It’s genuinely only a 30-second walk to the beach from the back gate – an absolute godsend when you’ve got two small children in tow. Parking is effortless, thanks to the automatic electric gates. Even on a rainy day, the little ones had a brilliant time. Paula, the hostess, was incredibly warm and helpful throughout our stay. We’ll definitely be coming back!
