Offering outdoor pool and tour desk, Golden Beach Resort is located in Aonang Beach. The hotel enjoys an excellent location right next to the beach — we only had to cross a small street that is mainly used by pedestrians. Overall, the location is outstanding in many ways. While the hotel is situated on the main street, it is in a quieter section, allowing for a peaceful stay. Shops, massage salons, restaurants, and plenty of street food options are all within easy walking distance. Although the street comes alive in the evenings, the hotel itself remains calm and quiet. The pool is large and very pleasant, with plenty of sunbeds available — we never had any trouble finding free ones. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. We stayed in the hotel building, and our room had a spacious balcony with a beautiful view of the sea and the pool. The garden area is also lovely and well maintained. We really enjoyed the breakfast, and we had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant several times. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. While the hotel is not new or modern in style, it has a charming, authentic atmosphere and offers all the cozy comforts you need for a wonderful stay in Thailand. We would happily return to Golden Beach Resort at any time and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone.

You walk outside, and the beach is right there, so my plans of being productive disappeared on day one. K and Megan were amazing. They made everyone feel welcome from the start and had a talent for getting guests involved without making it feel forced. Whether you came alone or with friends, you never stayed a stranger for long. The local staff were also incredibly kind and accommodating. They were always happy to help with recommendations, questions, or anything you needed. The rooms were clean, the atmosphere was social without being chaotic, and there was always something happening. If you’re looking for a place where you leave with new friends and a camera full of sunset photos, this is it.

Situated in Ao Nang Beach and within 200 metres of Ao Nang Beach, Sea Star House has a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. Some units at the property have a terrace with a city view. Wonderful stay! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming throughout. The location is very central and perfect for getting around the city. Both on arrival and after checkout they kindly allowed us to leave our luggage there for the whole day, which was a huge help. On our last day we were already past lunchtime and they still let me have breakfast almost an hour late — such thoughtful service. Highly recommend!

Situated in Ao Nang, the adult only Balcony Party Hostel Aonang offers both private and dormitory rooms with air conditioning. It has a on-site bar with lively music and refreshing drinks. room number 20 I really liked the location. The hostel is located right on the first beachfront line of Ao Nang. Nearby there are 7-Eleven stores, massage salons with very good prices, cafes, and all the main tourist infrastructure. The hostel itself is located on the second floor of the building. The ground floor is completely dedicated to a disco area. There is a great DJ, good drinks at affordable prices, a pool table, and various games and competitions are held regularly. If you came to Krabi to party and enjoy nightlife, this place is perfect for you. The music usually plays until around 3–4 a.m., and after that it becomes calm, so you can sleep well. However, if you are looking for a quiet place just to sleep, this hostel may not be suitable for you, as the disco continues until late at night. Breakfast is provided for free. Officially, meals are not included in the room rate, but breakfast is given to all guests regardless of how the hostel was booked, which is a nice bonus. There is also a very nice terrace where you can relax and spend time. It is important to clarify that this is a hostel, not a hotel. We stayed as a family of four — three sisters and our mother. We booked a shared room for four people, and the entire room belonged only to us, so we didn’t have to share it with anyone else. The room has bunk beds, everything was clean and well maintained. Each bed has its own individual light and power outlets, which is very convenient. A deposit is required: from 200 THB for the key and 300 THB for a towel. The staff are very friendly. I especially liked the girl at the reception — unfortunately, I don’t remember her name — she was always smiling and very helpful. If you are looking for a fun atmosphere, nightlife, and a great beachfront location, I definitely recommend booking this hostel.
