Offering a barbecue and water sports facilities,Varadero Zanzibar is situated in Kendwa. Out of all the places that I stayed in Zanzibar, this was by far my favourite. The property is beautiful and is right on the beachfront. It’s close to many water activities on the beach as well as shops on the sea side and on the street side. When I did not have WhatsApp access and needed to make calls, the front desk staff kindly helped me make phone calls whenever I needed to arrange transport. I came here as a female solo traveller, and I had a great time and felt so welcome and safe. I even made friends with other female guests who were also travelling solo. The operations manager, Al Pacino even sent a cake to my room on my birthday, and when I requested to stay a little bit longer after my plans unexpectedly changed, Al Pacino kindly sorted out my arrangement at a better rate. The room was very clean with good AC, and the shower had good pressure and the hot water never ran out. The breakfast buffet was delicious and I stuffed myself every morning, even though I don’t even like eating breakfast usually. I would highly recommend staying here, you will not regret it. I would definitely come back here on my next stay in Kendwa.

Lala salama Kendwa villas, a property with a garden and a bar, is set in Kendwa, a few steps from Kendwa Beach, 40 km from Kichwele Forest Reserve, as well as 46 km from Mangapwani Coral Cave. We arrived at 8 am after 26h journey and staff did everything to get our room ready so we could get some sleep. They even provided us breakfast while we were waiting. Staff was very supportive and helpful and girls in restaurant were exceptional. Location of villas is great, walking distance to beach. Our room was spacious with big comfortable bed and private balcony. Our flight back was late evening so after we checked out, our luggage’s were kept safe and we could enjoy our last day on beach. We were then allowed to use shower in empty room, so we could refresh ourselves before flight. Thank you to everyone who made this stay special for us.
