We loved our stay here. Our room had a large balcony, with a view down to the lake. Breakfast was very good - plenty of choice. Our host was easily contactable, and friendly. Rooms were clean and spacious. There is a bus stop right outside the property if you didn't want to walk up the short hill, but we mostly walked.

Well equipped quaint cottage with a magnificent view of the lake, good parking close by. Extremely friendly and helpful host who prepared delicious extensive breakfast. Nice interior, prosecco and pastry as welcome. Lovely little village located up the mountain above Lago Maggiore. The loggia where we could sit and sip wine was a hidden gem.

It was great contactless check-in, quick and easy. Staff have send me sms with directions at 2 p.m. my arriving day( it was great, that sms via mobile operator, not via internet). Location of the hotel is great, in heart of Locarno. But no irritating noises at all. In refrigerator two bottles of water for free - it was a sweet surprise. And!!! There was very very clean! In our room, in all bathrooms, in a hall. Have never seen the same cleanness! And thank you for Ticino Tickets, due them we used public transport and ferry for free! Some useful information for people, who come from Italy, Poland, etc.: if you have mobile internet in roaming without extra fee, in Switzerland you will pay expensive for this roaming, because this country doesn't attitude to 1st zone EU.

Excellent location, since we went for running half-marathon Ascona-Locarno, we needed a place near Piazza Grande in the center of Locarno. This small appartment was 250 meters from Piazza Grande, just perfect. Still, it was silent at night, good beds, we slept great. We expected just a room, but we also got a kitchenette and a lot of space. 600 meters from Train station, so we easily reached it by walking. Friendly personnel, all was great.
