- The included breakfast was very good, As was the optional 3 course dinner on the evening of arrival. And the weather allowed both meals to be taken on the outside terrace. - The secluded country location was perfectly on my travelling route for a cross country bicycle ride. I could imagine that it would also be an excellent location for a romantic getaway. - the bedroom (no picture) had no ensuite, but had a lovely bathroom immediately adjacent. And also a private sitting room (pictured) for me which I did not have time to use.

Our rooms were located in a large warm house, almost like a mini apartment as we had a key for the door to the bedrooms and bathroom. Our hostess Anne was very friendly and made us feel most welcome. We regret not staying longer as it was so nice, and we were interested in the horse farm/rearing done by the family. Breakfast was very good and varied, including some juice from their own apples.

beautiful place with an amazing view. (video from there place https://www.instagram.com/reel/C7H6o9HNc_S) The owners are very friendly and try their best to make your stay comfortable. Even though in our case there was a bit of a language barrier as we don't speak French and their English is not the best either. Also having breakfast is a very nice option. Maybe just one suggestion: you can put less jams, but add a few pieces of some basic veggies. The room itself is quite basic, but it's enough for overnight. The dog is just the best!

It is like going to your rich uncle’s big country house in the French countryside. You truly are a valued guest. Your room is furnished in highly polished Art Nouveau furniture, rescued from a Parisian hotel. Your view is from a huge window looking out onto a sweeping landscape, where you can just make out the cows on the other hill across the valley. After a walk around the spacious grounds and a peek inside a 100-year-old giant tree, you are ready to begin what will end up to be a 3.5 hour gourmet dinner. Or is it a party? Apéro on the terrace with Kir Normande and endless Amuse Bouches, then in to the dining room for course after course of delicious French cooking from your chef Renée, ending with the requisite drink of Normandy, Calvados. And at every turn , you are attended to by your gracious host, Jean-François. In a word, superbe.
