Aux Couleurs d'Esteil is the place you'll want to stay if you are traveling to the Dordogne region of France. The owners, Sylvie and Thierry are most excellent and welcoming hosts whose cheerful dispositions make you feel at home right away. Mireille and Jean Christophe have made a little paradise in the Perigord! From the moment we arrived we were treated like much-wanted guests and friends. The breakfasts were just delicious, especially the home-made and local treats, and the table-de-hôte was as delicious as one could find anywhere. We hope to return one day....it was a truly beautiful place with the right people to make it special.

Our hosts were lovely - very friendly and we tried to meet in the middle with our French and their English. Plant based milk was bought especially for us which was very kind and made a difference to my vegetarian daughter. The air con in the bedroom was fantastic- we slept really well because of it. It was a nice surprise to have a bath and the lighting in the main room was excellent. The sun shade was a must and made a positive difference to the ambiance of the outside space.

We really enjoyed conversation with the hosts. They were very charming. The rooms were very clean and the bathrooms had new showers and sinks. They advised us about restaurants and supplied gluten-free breakfast food for a member of our party.
